Source Naturals Omega 3·6·9 is an excellent blend of omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids. 

EPA and DHA are omega-3 essential fatty acids that play a significant role in cerebral development, especially for the fetus during pregnancy, for growing infants and for heart health and lowering metabolic inflammation. Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) is an omega-6 essential fatty acid used by our cells to produce soothing PGE-1 prostaglandins. Oleic acid is an omega-9 essential fatty acid that may help maintain blood pressure levels already in the normal range.

Omega 3-6-9 contains essential fatty acids which may help to support good circulation, joint health, immune function, heart health, healthy hair and healthy skin. Omega-3 fatty acids are considered  to be one of the essential fatty acids.

Essential fatty acids are essential because the body does not synthesize them. Fatty acids must be present in the diet or they will not be present in the body. Failure to obtain the recommended amount of essential fatty acids can have serious health implications.
