Sandalwood Oil is an essential oil is distilled from the Indian Santalum trees which have a history of medical use as well as use in perfumes. It is calming,  help reduce fear and stress. It was often used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat mild forms of anxiety. When blended with a carrier oil, Sandalwood is also believed to possess the ability to eliminate blackheads and spots from the skin. This is because the main compound of Sandalwood is beta santalol which has natural microbial properties. Add with carrier oil such as sweet almond, lavender for skin.

Blending: Bergamot, Black pepper, Geranium, Lavender, Myrrh, Rose, Vetiver and Ylang-Ylang blend very nicely with sandalwood essential oil for aromatherapy uses.
